The carbon underfloor heating we fit has a name: IREWA. Here is who makes it, what the partnership covers, and what it changes for you.
Who IREWA is
IREWA is the carbon underfloor heating brand of Carbon Heizsysteme GmbH, a company based in Rosenheim, Bavaria. Its system takes up about 5 mm: a heating film whose carbon layer covers more than 85% of the surface, laid on a thin layer of insulation. There is no heating cable and no water circuit.
This system, and no other, is the one Carbosol designs for, supplies and fits.

This data sheet dates from 2024. The manufacturer’s website now gives 0.45 mm, 32 °C at most and 85% of the surface for the same film: those are the values used on the page the system, layer by layer.
The manufacturer also states a 20-year warranty on the system and a service life of at least 50 years. These figures are its own: we quote them as they stand, with their source at the bottom of the page.
What the partnership covers
- The original product. The system we supply is the manufacturer’s, with its data sheets and its warranty.
- Four countries. France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands: that is the territory of the partnership.
- A single contact. Carbosol designs your project, supplies the system and fits it with its own teams. You do not have to deal with the manufacturer.
And Germany?
In Germany, IREWA distributes its system itself. Carbosol therefore does not work there: the reason, and who to turn to.
Ask for the documents
Data sheets for the film, the insulating layer and the reflective layer, product passport: the manufacturer publishes them in the database of the Sentinel Holding Institut, and we send them to you on request, whether you are a homeowner or a professional. Ask for the documents.

Is the 20-year warranty the manufacturer's?
Yes: it is the warranty the manufacturer states for its system. Ask us for its written terms before you sign.
